Daniel has worked in a variety of capacities with non-profit organizations working with those in Harrisonburg who have experienced homelessness or mental health challenges. These roles have ranged from direct engagement with clients and case management to program evaluation and building collaborative partnerships with other organizations. Daniel is currently working with VOCAL on leadership development of Virginia's peer-run mental health programs. Prior to his marriage, Daniel was known as Daniel Brumbaugh-Keeney.
